10 Week Training- Mt Maunganui Half Marathon Event
Registrations Cost for training are $20.00 to secure your spot.
TRAINING BEGINS ON SATURDAY 15TH JUNE 2019

Other costs for this event that you need to consider:
Marathon Entry: You will need to book your own Marathon Registration here. Event fee will depend on the distance you would like to complete: 5km/ 10km/ 21km

Accommodation: Book and pay your accommodation near the township, close to the event as the event starts early. We will all come back to Auckland together on Saturday afternoon after the marathon.

Money for gas: We will be taking the vans or vehicles going down.

ACCOUNTABILITY PLAN WITH LYDIA
If you are wanting to loose some weight and find this hard on your own 
You can book in to see Lydia once a week to go over a food plan that suits you.

​What this includes:
  • Weigh in
  • Measurements
  • Food Plan
  • Plan & Goal Setting
Lydia is not a qualified nutritionists but can help you get started onto a healthier lifestyle. 
Booking cost per session:
$10 (The Gate members)
$15 (Non members)

You could also book in fortnightly if you like but wouldn't recommend any longer than that or you might end up slipping into old habits. 

Lydia has been on a few plans to help her focus and knows for some of us that without being accountable to someone, we won't get any good results or reach our goals. 
Over the last one and a half years I have helped out about 15 people try to reach their goals.

LEANNE JOHN -ANDREW

Hi my name is Leanne, I am 53 years old. When I first weighed in with LYDIA 
I weighed was 95.3kg, I now weigh 82.4 kg. 
Lydia made this easy, even though I had times of being tempted with Ice Cream or chocolate. 
During training I broke my wrist but was still able to lose weight by sticking to my food plan and going for walks. 
I recommend this to anyone it changes your lifestyle.

SARNDRA WALKER

I asked Lydia in December 2016 right before Christmas if she could help me to lose weight. I was really desperate I was 106 kg and had managed to get to 98 kgs when I caught up with Lydia. I asked her because I knew that Lydia meant business and I needed someone who was committed and determined to see me through this. I Knew if I asked her then I better mean business. Lydia measured me and wrote the measurements on a paper towel, which I still have to this day and when I measure myself now I am blown away about the new measurements and the loss of 20 kg, I have another 20kg to go. The thing that made me think Lydia could actually help me was the results I was seeing in other woman that Lydia was working with and I wanted to be part of that. If you need someone to make you accountable and steer you towards your weight loss goal then Lydia is that person.

​NIVARNA WILLIS
Hi my name is Nivarna Im 23 years old. when I first weighed in with Lydia I was 91kgs and now I am 72 kgs. My initial goal was to lose weight for my wedding, but then after that I wanted to make good healthy changes in my life. Im an emotional/stress/ anixous eater meaning that I found comfort in food and I wanted to break that bad habit. For me to live longer, to do better, to achieve more and to be ready for kids I wanted to change that. Being on a plan was great! What’s the worst part? Accountability! The best part? Accountability! Meeting with her meant I had someone telling me off about what I wasn’t doing or what I was eating that wasn’t good. But if I didn’t have that, I don’t think I would have lost the weight, I wouldn’t be fit. She gives great advice on what foods not to eat or to replace with healthy food. She gives good advice about different workouts and what works for my body shape. Shes always encourages me! Whether I didn't lose weight, she growls, pulled me up and encouraged me to do better the next week, if I lost even 100g we celebrated! Its little things that make you want to keep going. Sticking to accountability gave me results.
