We are a multi-culture and multi-generational vibrant church led by a team of elders assisted by deacons partnering with New Covenant Ministries International team to equip the saints for works of service. We provide a variety of programs through our church into our city. Our Sunday services are 10am 26a Wood St Papakura
OUR ELDERSHIP TEAM
The Gate is a local church led by an Eldership Team, which in turn is led by a Lead Elder (Pastor). This Eldership Team are assisted by deacons in carrying out the various functions of the church, in order to establish and equip the folk God has knit into this house for the advancing of His kingdom. At The Gate we use the word Elders and/or Pastors more as a function, not a title based on our revelation through God's Word.

OUR DEACON TEAM
Deacons are appointed by the Elders to lead within the context of the local church. Our Deacons are important part of the leadership team and add life and leadership to all aspects of church life. Acts 6: 1 - 7 gives us an idea of the value Deacons add to the local church.

TRUST ADMINISTRATION
The Gate trustees oversee all the assets and operations of both the trust and the church. The Gate is registered with New Zealand Charities Commission under our legal name Gateway Community Trust. We have a very robust financial system, with annual audits and a monthly independent accountant assisting in our process. Our Administration Team deal with the day to day operations and outwork the vision and direction set by the trustees within the guidelines of our trust deed.
